New Tabernacle Baptist Church

Rev. Darryl Watts serves as Pastor of New Tabernacle Baptist Church (NTBC) in the Carrollton Ridge Community of Baltimore, Maryland.  Pastor Darryl gave his life to Jesus in 2003 and faithfully served in various ministry roles under the late Dr. Wilmer G. Holloway.   After responding to the call of God, on February 9, 2020, Darryl was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and called to lead this local assembly of God’s people.

Shortly after becoming Pastor, the world changed, with the onset of the Pandemic, which caused spiritual leaders to Shephard their flock in a new way. Since becoming Pastor of NTBC, his passion for a Christ-centered lifestyle, community reform, personal development and Godly relationships has infiltrated every aspect of his ministry.

In his tenure, Pastor has collaborated with the Maryland Food Bank with efforts to feed the hungry; and Baltimore Teachers Network to provide resources to the youth of Baltimore City, just to name a few.

In addition to all his duties as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Pastor Darryl lovingly serves his family as a devoted husband to his wife Angel and father to their adult children Jessica and Brandon.
